Scripture Emphasis:

1 Peter 4:12-13 “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”

Hatred (n) – intense dislike or ill will

To Hate (v) – to feel intense or passionate dislike for someone

Hate (n) – intense or passionate dislike

Miseí – to detest; especially to persecute

There’s no wonder why Jesus equated hatred in one’s heart with the act of murder.  Hatred is ugly.  It seeks the hurt and harm for another.  It can also be the basis for another JIIMM (Joy in its Maturity Morsel).
