Scripture Emphasis:

Eph. 4:4 “There is one body and one Spirit— just as you were called to one hope when you were called”

The fall of mankind brought division to the earth.  We see it first with Adam and Eve and then with Cain and Abel.  We see it again with Abraham and Lot in Genesis 13.  In the New Testament, Paul writes to the Corinthian church to correct its divisive ways.  In Ephesians, Paul addresses the Christians there and calls them and us to unity.  There are seven common denominators that should unify every church.
